Welcome to our Pre-Prep!

We provide high quality Pre-Prep care and education in a safe, happy and stimulating environment. We welcome pupils from the age of 2 years and 10 months (preference is given to children in their Pre-Prep year).

In our Pre-Prep the children learn through play. Our experienced staff support the holistic development of the children through an inspiring, engaging and playful curriculum with lots of fun throughout the day.

Our Pre-Prep children have access to all Methody Prep facilities and use all of indoor and outdoor space. From age 3 our pupils experience high quality specialist teaching in music and PE ensuring they access amazing opportunities.

By attending our Pre-Prep, children have a seamless transition to Prep 1 with a great head start and positive attitude towards their future education.

Transition to Prep 1

Our aim is to provide a very smooth transition into Prep 1 with a great head start and a positive attitude towards their future education.

The Pre-Prep children will have lots of opportunities to meet their Prep 1 teacher and visit the Prep1 classroom. The children will get to know the specialist teachers and they will also be familiar with the other staff in the Preparatory Department. The Pre-Prep leader takes full advantage of the opportunity to discuss each individual child with the Prep 1 teacher to ensure continuity of care.
