Welcome to Methodist College Belfast Preparatory Department

At Methodist College Belfast Preparatory Department (Methody Prep) you will discover a celebrated tapestry of diversity, opportunity and excellence that makes Methody Prep truly unique.

Methody Prep sees the consolidation of our prep education, Downey House and Fullerton House, to our 1 Malone Road site on the Methody campus. Downey House remains open until Friday 20 December 2024, with our Downey Pre-Prep remaining open until June 2025.

We are excited for the future and can't wait to share our plans for Methody Prep!

Methody Prep is is a non-denominational and co-educational Pre-Prep and Preparatory Department; we excel at providing a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

At Methody Prep, we are proud to be part of the Collegian family and we wear our crest with pride. From age 3 our pupils are little Collegians within our Methody family.

Our pupils are happy, kind and confident and enjoy discovering and developing their passions at Methody Prep. Our staff are passionate, committed and provide high quality teaching ensuring academic excellence.

This is a place that is inspiring and unique, where friends are made for life, where leaders are made, where children can thrive on stage and in sport and where life changing experiences takes place.
