As part of the College’s COVID risk assessment we can no longer accept paper documentation to report pupil absences from school. Details concerning this process were recently sent home to all parents.
You may also contact school using the Schoolcomms system (for which you must be registered) using the number 01287244005 please ensure you make contact before 9.00 a.m.
Alternatively, if you need to give a more detailed explanation you may telephone the number below before 9.00am: 02890 205226 Senior School Lower and Upper Sixth Mrs L Allen-Antuna.
Mrs Allen-Antuna will record the details or you can leave a message on her voice-mail. Please send a message (or phone) on each day of absence.
If you have signed up to the SchoolGateway app or Schoolcomms system you will receive a text if your son/daughter is neither in Tutor group registration nor registered elsewhere in the school and we have not received a text or telephone call from you.
As you are aware, we ask that medical appointments, family holidays, etc. are arranged outside school hours. However, in exceptional circumstances, if your son/daughter has to miss part of a day, then you should advise the school via the School Gateway app or via Schoolscom.
For a full school day please mark the message for the attention of Mrs M Cooney (Head of Lower Sixth) and for more than one day please mark your request for my attention. All requests for planned absence should be made at least three days in advance.
The school should be informed about any COVID-related absences and if your son/daughter or a member of your household tests positive then Public Health guidance should be followed.
