We aim to re-establish our full educational programme, in and out of the classroom, at the earliest possible opportunity and will endeavour to deliver as much of the timetable and curriculum as possible when school resumes in August. The following arrangements will operate until further changes to social distancing regulations allows all pupils to attend school at the same time. These arrangements will be kept under constant review and updated in line with any guidance issued by the government and the Public Health Agency.
From the beginning of the new academic year every year group will be spilt into 2 cohorts. With the exception of Lower 6th, pupils will be informed which cohort they are in no later than Friday 14th August. Lower 6th will be informed by Friday 21st following the publication of GCSE results on Thursday 20th. These cohorts will attend school on alternate weeks. Staff will set work for pupils to complete at home on the week that they are not in class.
During their induction sessions pupils will be informed about what is expected of them, the detail of their timetable, how blended learning will work and other operational matters.
