Drama

At Methody our middle school pupils enjoy a wide range of opportunities to explore, develop and showcase their talents in drama. Whether they are just beginning their performance journey or building on existing skills, pupils across the school can engage in supportive and creative experiences. 

Middle school pupils are offered interactive sessions and productions that introduce them to performance, collaboration, and storytelling. As they progress, they take part in more focused workshops and leadership opportunities designed to help them grow both on stage and behind the scenes.

College Players Audition Academy

Building on the strong foundation set in College Players, students in Forms 3–4 advance to our dynamic Audition Academy. This programme teaches pupils how to prepare and deliver effective auditions with confidence and professionalism. Each week, students vote on a musical and then have one week to prepare a piece from that show. Every Friday after school, they perform their selected piece for their peers.

In this supportive, open environment, students not only refine their performance skills but also learn how to give and receive constructive, thoughtful feedback. By celebrating one another’s progress and offering actionable suggestions, pupils gain both artistic confidence and a deep sense of community.
