Music at Methody
The musical talent at methody is renowned.
Our Girls’ choir has built up a considerable reputation through concerts inside and outside the College and performances on radio and TV as well as having toured with the Vienna Boys Choir in Vienna and Salzburg.
The smaller, selective Chapel Choir has sung in several English Cathedrals, in Oxford and Cambridge Colleges, at Westminster Abbey and twice at Carnegie Hall in New York, with the crowning achievement of seven of our Girl Choristers taking part in the Coronation of King Charles III in Westminster Abbey in May 2023.
Other music groups include the Junior Choir, the Junior Singers, the Junior and Senior orchestras, a big band, a brass group, a swing band, an Irish traditional group, as well as other small ensembles.
School Trips
At Methody we offer 35 school trips a year which provide pupils with a myriad of life changing experiences.
These include trips to Iceland, India, Romania, Portugal, Italy, Spain, France, Scotland, day trips within Northern Ireland and much more...
In Methody you are given incredible opportunities and experiences that you wouldn't be given anywhere else.
