Drama

At Methody our pupils are offered a wealth of opportunities to explore and develop their talents in drama, catering to both Junior and Senior School.

Junior School pupils can participate in fun and interactive drama sessions and productions which introduce them to the fundamentals of acting and storytelling, whilst Senior School pupils take part in productions and workshops honing their skills in a supportive environment. Some of the opportunities available in Junior School consist of:

Drama Summer Camp

Our Drama Summer Camp is an exciting opportunity open to all students in Form 1-4. We focus on welcoming and integrating our incoming first forms into the Methody community through the wonderful world of drama. Participants will engage in a variety of fun games and activities designed to foster friendships and build confidence, all while developing essential performance skills. This camp is the perfect way to prepare for the upcoming school year, providing a supportive environment where creativity can flourish. Join us this summer to embark on an unforgettable journey of self-expression and artistic growth!

Junior Drama Club

The Junior Drama Club takes place every Thursday after school in the Whitla Hall and is open to everyone in the Junior School. Led by a team of enthusiastic facilitators and talented Sixth Form pupils, the club is dedicated to helping students enhance their performance skills and boost their confidence on stage. Through engaging activities and workshops, participants will learn vital skills such as public speaking, improvisation, and effective interaction with their peers. The Junior Drama Club is a fantastic way for students to explore their passion for drama while making new friends in a fun and supportive atmosphere. We can’t wait to see you there!
