At the recent National High Schools' MUN held in New York at the United Nations, much success was enjoyed by the 24 delegates from MCB representing Azerbaijan, Moldova, Japan and the UN.

Individual awards were won by Bobbie Leigh Herdman on the Security Council and Dessi Malinova as UN representative to the Middle East Committee. All delegates were highly active throughout the 4 day conference which involved debating as late as midnight.

In a conference using American rules, all delegates quickly adapted to the procedure and were a credit to their school and families. with over 2500 delgates from some 100 schools from all over North and Central America present the team excelled and won a Best Delegation Award for their collective effort in committees.
