Below is a visual representation of a lesson designed to highlight how pupils dealt with lessons dealing with issues such as Equality and Social Justice. Stepping Stones examined how certain groups may have been marginalised in our society because of their age, gender, race, religion, physical and mental capacity and how we could make our society more inclusive and fair.
The pupils were given an Identity Card and in response to a series of statements of what someone could do such as enjoy an education, go on a holiday, get a job, they either moved forward or did not move. Watch 1W taking steps!
