Summer Term 2012
Which booklets/ topics/ themes etc will be covered in the Summer term and roughly how long will each topic take?

Will there be an end of topic test or any formal homeworks/ assessed coursework for a particular topic? If so, what will it entail and roughly when will it be set?
No tests or assessed coursework.
Summer Examination
This will be 1 hour long and will cover the work completed since the start of January. Pupils will need to revise from their notebooks and the photocopied sheet of Bible passages they have been given; they will not need to revise from textbooks.
Spring Term 2012
1. Which booklets/ topics/ themes etc will be covered in the Spring term and roughly how long will each topic take?
- The church in the Twentieth Century – 4 weeks
- God and the Bible – 4 weeks
- God’s Relationship with his chosen people – 8 weeks
2. Will there be an end of topic test or any formal homeworks/ assessed coursework for a particular topic? If so, what will it entail and roughly when will it be set?
A piece of coursework to be set in March. This is a new piece of work and the details have not yet been decided on.
Autumn/Winter Term 2011
Which booklets/ topics/ themes etc will be covered in the Christmas term and roughly how long will each topic take?
- The Early Church (2-3 weeks)
- The Celtic Church (3-4 weeks) Half Term
- The Reformation (2 weeks)
- 18th and 19th Century social reformers (3 weeks) Christmas
Will there be an end of topic test or any formal homeworks/ assessed coursework for a particular topic? If so, what will it entail and roughly when will it be set?
- A project
- A piece of coursework
- A class test
