- Term 1 Booklet
- Term 2 & 3 Booklet
Revision tips:
- Revise all of the booklets thoroughly
- Make notes on each topic
- Learn key words at front of booklet
- Recipes do not need to be learnt but knowing reasons for choice of ingredients may be useful
- In the examination fill the available space for each question

Autumn/Winter Term 2011

- Unit 1: Introduction to Home Economics - 2 weeks
- Unit 2: Preparing for Practical lessons - 3 weeks
- Unit 3: Healthy Eating - 5 weeks
Will there be an end of topic test or any formal homeworks/ assessed coursework for a particular topic? If so, what will it entail and roughly when will it be set?
5 assessments in total - 3 assessment homeworks, a practical exam and evaluation of practical exam. These will be carried out between now and Christmas , and are outlined at the front of their booklet.
- Safety in HE Poster (20 marks)
- Eat well plate homework (20 marks)
- Packed Lunch Planning (15 marks)
- Practical exam - packed lunch (30 marks)
- Evaluation of practical exam (15 marks)
