Floreat Collegium,
Our 150th anniversary book, will be on sale from Friday 7th December.

You can buy your copy online by following this link to a secure website
You can also buy the book in person from reception and at College events in the run up to Christmas.
The price is £40. If paying by cheque please make it payable to Methodist College Belfast. Follow this link to the publishers website

Don’t forget to come along to the official book launch event at 7.30 pm on Thursday 13th December in the Whitla Hall. You will have the chance to hear the author Alan Frame interview a number of the Former Pupils featured in the book and then get your copy of the book signed. Alan will be interviewing:
Colin Davidson, artist
The Rt Rev. the Lord Eames OM
Robina Ellis, widow of the actor James Ellis
Rev Dr Harold Good OBE
Glen Patterson, poet and author
Marion Woods, daughter of Ernest Walton

All profits from the sale of the book will go to the College Development Fund, helping ensure that Methody will flourish for the next 150 years! 
For those of you who ordered your copy of Floreat Collegium directly from the publishers, the Principal has just received an apology from them for the delay in sending out your book. Your order is on its way and should be with you by the 14th of December. If you have not received your order by Wednesday 19 December (UK orders) please get in touch with the publishers at so that they can deal with your query.

If you are attending the book launch this Thursday evening and have not received your order from the publishers, then you can collect a copy from the College on the evening on condition that you give your ordered copy to the College when you receive it. This will allow you to get your copy signed by the author and the special guests.
